Imagine You Sleeping
look
your naked oily flesh
caked with evidence of a day
ears hearing
what you’ll never remember
or
maybe remember
as a scene in a long
forgotten film
air fragrant as a capful of bleach
ear
pressed against
an upper limb lips
swollen pulled apart
just enough to let an ounce of breath
slip through
